Cameron & Washington Memorial United  Competition Band  

The Washington Memorial Pipe Band and the Cameron Highlanders Pipe Band  joined forces in 2008 to create both Grade 4 and Grade 5 competition bands entitled Cameron & Washington Memorial United (CWMU).  CWMU provides Washington Memorial members with the opportunity to enhance their musical skills through competition and advanced training.   The collaboration between the two bands has also provided talented pipers and drummers from the Delaware Valley, Lehigh Valley, Lancaster, York, and Harrisburgh with a place to go and compete at a high level.  CWMU, under the direction of Kyle Johnson, Kenny Sutherland, and Erich Paden, currently holds the title of  Mid-Atlantic Champion in Grade 4.  Pipers and drummers who would like to know more about joining the Grade 4 or 5 band, call WMPB Pipe Major Colin P.
